Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Text entered into a sponsored search tool goes to the outside company that operates it. That provider processes the query and returns its own results. Delta County Court Docket does not store or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If a visitor sends an email, the message may be retained long enough to review and answer it. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Routine server and analytics records may collect technical details about a visit:
- Device IP address
- Browser name and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent
- Referring website, when available
- Date and time of each request
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies and analytics services help measure traffic, page performance, and general use patterns. A browser can block cookies, although some functions may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
Collected technical data serves a limited set of operational purposes:
- Keeping pages available and responsive
- Routing sponsored queries to the partner service
- Measuring which content visitors use
- Diagnosing errors and security issues
- Supporting advertising that may reflect visitor interests
No Court-Record Data on File
Delta County Court Docket does not host, maintain, compile, or sell a database of court cases or personal docket records. It publishes directions to official sources. Delta County case files are maintained by the Clerk of Court at Delta County Combined Court, and municipal files remain with the issuing city. Court-file public access follows Chief Justice Directive 05-01 and related Judicial Branch rules. The Colorado Open Records Act applies to general public records but is not the county administrative route for a Judicial Branch case file.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Their privacy notices, retention rules, prices, and disclosure practices govern information submitted to them. Review the named provider's policy before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Colorado Judicial Branch pages, municipal courts, government sources, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves this domain, the destination's terms and privacy policy apply. Advertising companies may also use their own technology to measure activity across sites.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal information is not sold. Limited data may be available to:
- Search partners receiving a query
- Analytics providers measuring traffic and performance
- Advertising networks serving ads
- Authorities acting under a valid legal demand
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used for information under this site's control. No internet system can promise absolute security, so protection against every breach cannot be guaranteed.
Users Under 18
This service is intended for adults and does not knowingly seek personal information from anyone under 18. Information identified as a minor's submission may be deleted after notice.
Your Data Rights
Rights vary by residence and applicable Colorado or federal law. A visitor may ask to review personal information held by this site, correct an error, request deletion, or object to certain processing where the law provides that choice. These visitor-data rights are distinct from access to court files under Chief Justice Directive 05-01 or the Colorado Open Records Act.
